九龍塘古樹疑染病瀕死 (印度榕/印度橡樹Ficus elastica Roxb. ex Hornem.)

【明報專訊】康文署《古樹名木冊》內一棵印度橡樹懷疑感染俗稱「樹癌」的褐根病，有市民發現樹身長出真菌，樹木專家認為該樹健康於過去半年正急速走下坡，應已返魂乏術，但康文署的名冊顯示，上次檢查日期是去年10月5日，當時並沒註明該樹健康有問題。

樹身長真菌 樹根腐爛

有市民昨向本報指出，九龍塘丹桂路休憩花園內一棵古樹（編號LCSD SSP/14）健康轉差，樹身長出真菌，樹根腐爛，質疑政府未有好好護理。長春社總監蘇國賢看過本報昨拍攝的照片，指該樹可能感染褐根病，長出真菌，健康極差，康文署應評估是否有倒塌風險，決定是否移除。

蘇國賢說，該樹約40％樹葉面積較正常細小，但一向沒表面病徵，去年12月檢查該樹仍未見長出真菌，估計該樹的健康於過去半年迅速轉差。康文署昨回應稱，該署一直有監察該樹，並定期詳細檢查及護養。該署今年5月初檢查時，已發現該樹的樹葉稀疏，葉片萎黃，懷疑出現初步褐根病徵狀，但整體結構並無問題。康文署已即時安排進一步詳細檢測，以確定該樹是否患上褐根病，並會加強護理。

Admission Requirements

Applicants seeking admission to this Course should meet the following requirements:

1. Have an academic Degree or Diploma awarded by a recognized university or equivalent and with at least 3 years’ working experience in the field of arboriculture; or
2. Have over 7 years’ working experience in the field of arboriculture; or
3. Have currently been working in the field of arboriculture and recommended by their employers. They will be considered for admission on an individual basis. Interview may be required.

而且仲要考試

Award of Certificate of Completion
Participants who have (a) an attendance rate of at least 70% for each of the three parts and (b) passed in the assessment of each of the three parts will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by CUSCS.
